Model always set back to zoom extent switching from layout

Dear Forum,

I need a help from you. I have a file where almost all data is drafted in paper space with a Xref file in model space. I need to create new layout for different set of data. The real problem when ever i change the tilemode form paperspace to model space my model view set back to zoom extent position. same is the case if i switch from paper to model remaining in layout mode my model space set back itself to zoom extent. Due to this problem i am unable to determine my Dview toggle angle or unable to set the new togle angle.

Kindly let me know the solution. This problem really annoys me whenever i try to work in paper space and i have to look back data from model space.

Anyone suggestion are most welcomed.

Check the value of your UCSFOLLOW variable. Double click inside your viewport to activate model space and then type UCSFOLLOW at the c-prompt. Is it set to 1? Try setting it to 0.
