Hello all. Here is a quick warning about the new windows version of iTunes. I would recommend against installing it if you have a Roxio/Adaptec cdr software or a brand that has on-demand packet writing.

Here are a few links....

I installed it on my IBM at work and it did criple my OS (Win2K). I was one of the luckly one who could not boot up into safe mode and uninstall. I had to reinstall my OS. Luckly I did not lose any data but I did have to reinstall all of my applications. It did however install at home without a problem. At home I have Nero Express and no on-demand packet writing software (InCD I believe is what it is called for Nero). Anyway just a warning to all of the CADTutor community. Cheers.

Thanks for the warning. I was looking at Itunes at www.downloads.com and it received good reviews, so I was going to download it. I will stay away from it.

It might work for you. It did work at home :? I am dissappointed though. I would have thought Apple would have been better prepaired for this.
