New016
3D gears & locking cams built in AutoCAD 2013 & transferred to Showcase 2013. Individual rotations about axis OK via behavoirs but when making up Storyboard I cannot get intermittent gear play forward for less than one Rev, regardless of speed set. Driver has teeth missing to give driven forward motion 1/4 turn followed by dwell period before restarting for another 1/4 turn. Cannot find answer in Help, so ask the experts what I'm missing. most frustrating.

New016
Suggested search in Autodesk Area was of little help. For 1/4turn gear rotation I[ve abandoned turntables & gone for a series of keyframe pairs. A devil to apply for smooth startup without jerky flutter & set each consecative 1/4 turn exact 90.0 degrees. One misses the Osnap facilities of AutoCAD, or ability to key in 90 to a rotate command. Biggest problem is some parts not retaining whole shape during animation. Top face & outside corners rotation, but side faces remaining stationary. First trid AutoCAD solids assembly converted to showcase, then again by Inverntor comverted likewise. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestion how to overcome or best direction to follow.
