Do you mean turn a 2D drawing into a 3D drawing, which a lengthy discussion if you are using LT ? Or do you mean view a 3D drawing that was created by someone else - which you do by using the menubar - View option - Select 3D views (about halfway down) and then pick one of the isometric options (the last 4)

LT has limited 3D capability. For full capability you would require full AutoCAD.

Are you attempting to do 3D solid/surface/mesh modelling?

As ReMark said LT has very limited 3D capability, there are no tools provided in the menubar, ribbon or toolbars.

And only a few of the objects that you draw can be used in 3D. Take a look in the Autocad help file at the HIDE command, it gives a description of the type of objects that can be used, but there are no built in commands to make it easy.

So you have an architectural drawing that you want to go from 2D to 3D? You will have to find another method. One that immediately comes to mind is SketchUp. Have you heard of it? There is a free version as well as a "Pro" version which will cost you.
