Field text editing

Is there a way of changing the content of the field text without going in to drawing properties?

Here is what I have tried. Dobbel clikking on the Field text, and the text formatting tool pops up. Then I right clikk on the field text, and select Edit field. And the field text comes up, but I can not change the text.

Wy? The only way I have been able to change the field is to in to drawing proerties, and custom and change the value there.

Autocad 2006 is used, is there a known bug, or is it me... :)

I dont think so,

i did however create a toolbutton to bring up the drawing properties section. much quicker than going thru the menu.
