WILL NOT SAVE- HAS A COMMAND IN PROGRESS

This is the message I get.......

Command: *Cancel*

Document "D:\Coordination\ELEC\2nd FLOOR\E-2 7-27-06.dwg" has a
command in progress.
Hit enter to cancel or [Retry]: *Cancel*


....Any ideas why this happens? There is no command active that I can find.
I basically have to now go and retrieve an autosave file.


Any help is appreciated.

What version of what product are you running?

Have you checked the Autodesk KB?

Using ABS 2006

[Spring]

Ctrl+C in the drawing you can't save and Ctrl+V in a new drawing to save it temporarily.
In fact, you quit the drawing in despite of the message, AutoCAD will save you drawing too. It is a bug of AutoCAD.
