hello, i have a drawing in 04, thats messed up. i have lines that are supposed to be a certain lenght, but they are off like 20 or so feet or even more. at first i thought the scale was off, but now im not sure. wondering if theres a way to find out what the original scale for this drawing was. i tried dimscale but thats set at what i am working at. please help

if you know what the length of a line is suppose to be, then just divide it into the length it is now using the SCALE command.

so lets say your line is suppose to be 2" and the length is 10' then divide 2 into 120, and the answer will be what you will rescale it as. even further, look into the 'CAL expression while using scale in the Help Menu. ;-)

Alternatively, if you know the length of a line, then use SCALE and scale the whole drawing back to its natural scale (1 drawing unit = 1 unit).
Then worry about the plot scale when its time to plot the drawing....
