tool palette icon size

Does anyone know how I can adjust the size of the icons in a tool palette for ACAD 2006. I found there are some icons that are large and other that are small and it's already hard enough to get a good look at the large ones when they are cyan and green with the light colored background. Anything short of manually drawing new icons will be considered.

Oh, and if you know how to make the tool palette background black, that would be even better.

I've found the fix..not sure how I missed it. You just have to pick the tab, then right click on the palette name and select view options. The icon scale is there. Too bad there's no black background option
