when i offset objects it always offsets it at the 0,0,0 coordinates. its only with autocad 2000. the same dwg. works fine in 14. To be more specific, its usually when you are trying to offset on the inner side of closed polylines. Its not the distance issue, I have checked that.

help me to slove the problem. its like typing with one finger.

As long as you are in the current UCS XY plane then it should work fine, presumably you are reading the command line and allowing for the space the offset needs ?
