Hello Camsec!
Select the viewport and check the Properties window (CTRL+1). You may even change the scale here

Have your "Viewports" toolbar on. Double-click inside the viewport (in a layout) to go into model space. The viewport toolbar will indicate what the xp scale is.

If you do use Flores method when you click in the viewport be careful not to use the zoom command as you may inadvertantly change the viewport scale! All you do once youve clicked in the viewport and seen the scale is click on the tab that has changed from PAPER to MODEL(should be located below your command line)

See the tips here at www.autocadzone then pull down the TUTORIALS menu then Autocad2d>viewports.

I spent two years learning acad 2000i  and NOW these things are simple.

I spent a year copy/pasting cad files into MS Publisher  before I learnt how to PLOT from acad. :o
