When your changing the background in a 3D drawing and you use the gradient,it seems almost impossible to manipulate the middle and bottom half of the gradient.Any ideas?

Within the background and gradient settings bottom right manipulate the HORIZON HT etc settings. This moves where each of the bands in the htree gradients 'sit'
But you should use a cool sky background of the cadtutor site !

Understanding UCS and changing the origin of it with a sound knowledge of OSNAPS and good 2d 'techy drawing' skills is what 3D is all about.

Well Ive spent the last few years concentrating solely on 2D to get a firm grasp of it and am now moving onto 3D,so I guess some of my knowledge I can carry over. Its very likely youll be hearing me ask quite a few questions more in the future to :) .

It took me so long in the earlier years to get my head round moving the usc and adjusting it to 3d model.
Like i said to Gary a while back, once you learn 3d and rendering,
youlll find 2d boring.
