I guess you're wondering where the new forum is?

I'm working on it but lots of problems converting this forum over to the new one. If anyone knows a good option (that works) for converting YaBB CGI to phpBB I would love to hear it. I have very little hair left!

Continue to use this forum and I will archive it at the last minute in order to save as much as possible.

Hi David....

Just a quick update that you may or may not be aware of, but IB has now released the 1.1 beta and is a vast impovement over 1.01 (the one I was using). The conversion process was fairly painless if you understand myphpadmin (which I'm kind of having no choice in learning).

On a different note, what exactly are the problems you're having with the conversion process? If I can help, I will :D

It turns out that there's no direct route from YaBB CGI to Invision Board. There is a converter but it only converts members and not posts ??? So, I moved on to phpBB where there is a direct converter BUT it doesn't work as expected and at the moment I'm trying to sort that out. The other line of attack is to convert to YaBB SE first and then to a second board. The problem here is that I cant get YaBB SE to install >:( hence lots of hair pulling and wishing I'd never even heard of community forums.

So far I've spent enough time on this to have completed 3 or 4 tutorials!
