Is there anyway to extrude along a spline path? Can i switch it to a different kind of like or something?

Use the spline as a "path". The normal Extrude command gives you the option of selecting a "path" in addition to the normal height option.

Thats what it gave me when i did that. Is there any way to change the kind of line it is to make the extrude possible?

I use a regular polyline not a 3D polyline.

This is what i am trying to do, if there is another way to do that without using a spline, please tell me. Or if there is a way to change that spline to a polyline or somethin, that would be helpful too. Thanks.

...I guess the "region" that you're trying to extrude (the small circle in the center) is not "perpendicular" to some of those "paths"... (although one of them should work out) :unsure: . And yes, place the "region" at the end of the spline to extrude it.

Moreover, since the path (in your case) is in ONE plane, you can try the usual extrude command on the path itself, then fillet its edges. 8)

no, there was only one at first, i used the array function to show you that the line is not in only 1 plane. The original line and circle, they are perpindicular. But when i try to extrude, it gives me, "cannot extrude along 3D spline path".

P.S. I am using 2000

:? Does this happen for all spline extrusions? Btw, what version are you using? If you have 2k7 you can try the sweep command. :oops:

i have the exact same problem. Please someone help. I spent too much time making the spline and now i can not extrude along it. I'm with ACAD 2000i
