I have AutoCAD 2006 drawings using site plans on model space and a viewport with additionl itmes including title block on paper space.
In the plot preview and plot itself none of the paper space items show up or plot.
Can someone tell me why this is happening?

Thanks

did you check the paperspace items to make sure that they are not on a "no-plot" layer?

Yes, all layers have been checked to make sure they're ON and the NON-PLOT is correct

make sure that in the Plot Dialog Box, you don't have the 'Plot Area' set to Window or something. sometimes when you change papersizes, the "paper" area will shift, and the plot area will stay put. try and plotting using the "Window" plot area option. see if that helps. save your configurations after you set it too, or the changes will be lost.

The layer properties all seem correct.
I only get the site plan which is in the viewport right smack in the middle of the paper, with none of the paper space entities showing.

objects on the defpoint layer will not plot either...has the title block been inserted on that layer?..

Checked for that too. All layers seem to be setup correctly.
Is there a switch to (0/1) to control this?

try a few different things to isolate the problem. Try coping the objects, sticking them in model space, and doing a plot preview in model space to see if these objects show up. If they don't, it is most likely a layer problem. If they do, then it's something else.

The next thing that you can try is creating a brand new layout, set up your paper, then copying ALL objects in the first layout to the second one, then try another plot preview.

This can give you a good idea where the problem might be coming from.

Can you tell us what area you are trying to plot and what you are selecting to achieve this.

This is an A1 size drawing with a site plan in model space with text callouts and the title block in paper space.
The only thing I get (in either preview or plot) is the site plan portion through the viewport.
We have sucessfully setup drawings in this procedure many times, but for some reason this project is not turning out.

haha, i just noticed your name.... you must like the Simpson...

okay, is this the only layout tab that you have in this drawing? have you tried making a new layout tab, and copying everything over? it's the viewport that WILL print, and the titleblock in paperspace that ISN'T printing, right?

Have you tried selecting extents when you plot? If this doesn't work could you upload the drawing?
