Howdy all,

I have a question to ask and hopefully there is a simple solution to my problem. I just recently recieved a survey from a contractor and when drawing lines using the surveyers .dwg the start and end of the line isnt visible. Even though I know where the end of the line terminates I cant see it. Its like drawing a line under a wipeout frame, when you click on the line you can see where it finishs, when when you press escape you cant. It maybe be a switch in the drawing that needs to be activated like when typing in psltscale and it comes with the option of 1 or 0.

Thanks for your help
Richard

how about to change the "LTSCALE" factor?

Are you sure there are no wipeouts in the drawing? What happens when you select the line and set the Draworder to "Bring to Front"? Does that do anything?

Also, what happens when you zoom in close to the end of the line. Is it still hidden?

G'day Hardy,

Another possibility is that the surveyor's linestyle definition starts with a blank segment. Change the linestyle to "continuous" and see what happens.

Not sure what the problem was with that drawing. I ended up turning all the layers on and then copying it all with a base point into a new drawing and that cleared it all up. Thanks for all your help getting my mind thinking of going down a few different anvenues.

Alan Cullen....pity about Steve Irwin, but I dont think he would have had a long life anyway with all the dangerous things he gets up too.

Crikey Hardy,
Big shock....news came through to Cairns early yesterday afternoon....Steve was killed off Port Douglas, which is only an hour up the road. There's a bloke who plays with crocs and snakes and sharks, and a relatively harmless sting ray got him....He will be sadly missed by everyone in Australia....the bloke really was larger than life, and he loved coming to Cairns.

I think back on all the times I used to dive with sharks, and stir them up to see what their reaction was.....and I shudder now, and thank god I don't do it anymore and that I am still alive....
