I have been trying to extend lines along a specific path by using the snaps and entering a value. If i draw a line and where i am asked to 'specify next point', i place the snap over the line on which i want the new line to extend to, the next point finishes where my curser exists and at the length i specified, not where the snap exists.
I have previously been able to extend a line along another line (on top of the line), as above, whereby the next point isnt drawn based on the endpoint of my curser but where the snap exists.
Can someone please help? Has it to do with the edgemode value or similar?
I am using AutoCAD 2007.
Thanks
