View Full Version : 3D Solids Editing with AutoCAD 2007

Finally AutoCad supports editing of 3D solids, like stretching, moving a vertex, etc. It works fine in a new drawing, but when I open the drawing I'm working on, I cannot stretch a vertex of a solid. Not even a newly drawn solid. I can select it , but it doesn't stretch... It acts just Just like ACad 2006, where the drawing comes from.
Which setting is set wrong, how can I edit the solids? Anyone knows? I've looked in the help and on the net, but cannot find an awnser.
Thanks!

You need to hold down the Ctrl key and move the mouse over the face/edge you want to modify. When the face/edge gets highlighted, click on it. Release the Ctrl key, start dragging the face/edge with your mouse. :)
Remember AutoCAD 2007's press and pull function works good for simple objects only.

That works in a new drawing just fine, but when I open an old one, it doesn't.... I'm thinking there's some kind of version-conflict or so?

Hmmm... I guess you're right, it seems like a version conflict. I tried it on one of my previous version models. Doesn't work there! :(

OK, so I think we've found a genuine bug there...
