Single lines into polyline?

Hi...
Is there a way to merge connected lines making them into polylines?
I'm using AutoCAD 2002 with ADT 3.3 and POINT 5.
This has been a reoccuring problem I have had for some time now, especially when I have wanted to extrude a set of single lines connected to an arc.

Hello Christian!
Do you have the Express tools? If so, you mai use the PLJOIN command.
Or try to enter BPOLY at the command prompt. This last command is not so powerfull ac the PLJOIN is, but if the boundaru is closed, it will work for you.

PEDIT works too -- it'll change a line into a polyline, then you can join other line segments to it.

PEDIT works too -- it'll change a line into a polyline, then you can join other line segments to it.

And you can 'close' them to create a 'closed profile' for extruding. Also hitting Ctrl+1 will open properties and you can check a lines properties there.
