cht and txc command

the place i used to work at had two commands on their autocad system that were extremely useful. one was "cht" which would let you edit the text of each attribute without having to use the edit attribute command. the other was "txc" which would let you copy the text from one attribute to another.
anyone know how to get these commands up and running.

Those commands were most likely custom LISP routines, which is why they are not on your current computer.
