Here I go again. This is an Autocad question!!
I have a drawing that was given to me to clean and made changes.
I can do all the work and changes that I want and/or need on model mode with no problem The drawing came in with the basic sheet (letterhead??) set as an external reference on the paper space mode. I can do the revision marks on the basic sheet (the external reference) and the information will show on this drawing normally with no problem.
The problem is that the crosshairs in paper space mode (on this drawing) are locked at the 0,0 point and they will not move. I have read all the help about paper space and no clue.
I like to put the clouds of revision marks on paper space (Just lazy) and I can't do that on this drawing. My question is: How can I unlock the crosshairs (the ones that move when you move your mouse) I got 47 drawings on this package and this is the only one with that problem, and I can not ask the original office that made the original drawings about this trouble. Thaaank you!!

One thing that could cause that is having "snap" set to "on" and snap spacing is set very large.

 CarlB I have to admit that you were (are!) absolutely correct.!! And I am ashamed of myself... It was exactly that; the snap on the paper space was turned on and the snap spacing it is set to 5'-0". - I never use Snap myself (I have never understood the purpose of those things anyway) and I never use the grid either. For me a drawing begin with just two lines: one along the X axis and one along the Y axis from them on is just offset to the thousands of an inch. dimensions always perfect !!.
But...Yes!! that was just the problem snap set to a larger than my sheet size I just hit F9 and off they went and my crosshairs were liberated.
Hurrah!!
Thanks a lot my fellow Autocad User...Sincerely!!

You're welcome :) I just happened to see that "locked cursor" a day or 2 ago so I thought maybe that's it, otherwise I would have been as stumped as you were.
