Hello.

I have a drawing with many layouts and when using ACAD2k4 I used to plot some layouts at the same time (they were set to the same printer) but it seems I can't do this using ACAD2k7 so is there a way to do this??

I am not sure if i correctly understand what you are trying ot do but if you have multiple view ports and you would like them all to be the same scale then try vpsync.Not sure if it works in lt version though?

zars is there a Publish command in 2007?? try that if it's still the same command.....

Yeah Styk that's what I was looking for, thanks!!!

But let me tell ya that using ACAD2k4 doing this was easier. You could just select all the layouts you wanted to plot (they had to be set to the same printer) then right-click on one of them choose plot and that's it.

Now this method takes more time but I guess there's more things that can be done, think I'll have to explore it.

yeah i agree with it being easier in the earlier versions, but the top guys at AutoCAD thinks this is easier. i like the publish command, don't get me wrong, but it would be nice if they still had the other way too.... :-)

What is it that you think that is different between ._PUBLISH in 2004 and ._PUBLISH in 2007?

I agree with you, Styk it would be nice to have the other way too, publish command takes an eternity...

There's nothing different, the problem here was that I didn't use the publish command when printing multiple layouts in ACAD2k4.


You could just select all the layouts you wanted to plot(print) (they had to be set to the same printer) then right-click on one of them and choose plot.
