I have been using Dreamweaver for a few years but have no idea about producing / editing a Cascading Styling Sheet format ?
Why can I not edit in Dreamweaver ?
Does it have anything to do with the options I chose when installing the program ??
Cheers
David

The last 2 versions of Dreamweaver have pretty good support for CSS - version 8 is particularly good. You can edit external style sheet files or styles in the head and inline styles. I suggest you do some background reading on how style sheets work and the various ways they can be used with XHTML (external is best) before doing anything in Dreamweaver.

Also remember, that you can apply CSS Style Sheets that are already made in Dreamweaver. File > New - then select which one you want under CSS... i can't remember exactly what it says, it's been awhile. just look under the Help file to show you how to attach a style sheet. that's the best way. LOTS of control.

Also, have a look at Selectutorial (http://css.maxdesign.com.au/selectutorial/index.htm). Very good place to start with CSS.
