Actually the CD and the program tutorials are good and explain constraints and sketching, the big dif. from autocad.

It's okay it's just that the inbuilt help files sit on top in a wee window and makes it easy to work thru with inventor running rather than a bit of paper.
Do you use inventor ?

Came across a webpage from Lynn Allen with an online booklet "Making the Leap from AutoCAD to Autodesk Inventor".

Inventor
When learning or wanting a specific modelling feature eg a spiral spring then u can click on a VISUAL DICTIONARY. This brings up a wee window with a step by step animation of how to model the feature.
You can re-run any step at anytime. This makes learning
so much easier.
Also the help and tutorial files are excellent and saves buying a book.
