Out of memory!!!

I have used Xref to link a few files to my drawing. When I tried binding all of them, I got the error message "Out of Memory". Can anyone advise me on how to solve this problem? Thanks

Before linking them check your system resources left by typing the command STATUS.

Sorry no more info, never touched xrefs. But maybe link/update them one at a time, rather than all at once ?

If your system resources are low you can close unessasary open programs or maybe just buy some more memory.
