Inventor 10: crash if try to open file

I have installed Inventor 10 on my XP computer. I can start the program, but if I try to open any new or existing file, it immediately crashes without any error message, it's just completely away.
I made a re-installation, but the problem is the same...
Maybe someone had similar problem and knows the simple solution?!

Here my configuration: P4, Win XP, 1GB RAM, 64MB Nvidia NVS280

Sounds like a corrupt file and it doesn't fix re-installing.

Presuming it's legal copy, use addremove repair ???

Many thanks for your reply, Nick.
I made again a complete de-installation and re-installation, but still the same problem.
Then I downloaded the newest drivers for my graphics card and this helped,
now it works, problem solved!

Ah, forgot to say that. I think there is a comaptibility list somewhere in the manual.
