Can't get the hang of making work planes

Hi,

I am trying to make a loft, but I can't for the life of me make the work planes needed. I have a circle drawn in the default XY plane, and the other 2 planes visible. I want to make another set of 3 planes behind the face of the circle, and also move it over. I have tried clicking the work pane tool, clicking a work pane, and moving it, but that only moves it about its axis, not 3d. How can I do this?

Select a workplane then click and drag it, an offset box should pop up to adjust the offset, parallel.

Or using the workplane tool select to pieces of geometry to creat workplane.

Post the file in ver 7 for me to look at if you wish.
