hi !!
i'm experimenting trouble when i try to plot dashed lines i have a continuous one whatever i doeven if i change the scale on the properties dialog box it changes on model view but not on print ...
PLEASEE HELLPPP !! :x
could any of you acad gurus explain the setup or the way you handle your dash scale ?

What is the LTSCALE of your drawing? If not sure type LTSCALE and read whst it says. Try changing it to see what happens. This is I believe the global linetype scale setting. Good luck :)

Yes this LTSCALE variable for your scaling of lines,rather than scaling each line individually!You may also want to look at the variable PSLTSCALE,which can be used to display your the linetype scales in paper space & model space.They will either display identically or differ from paper to model space.This is topic stumped me a while back too! :)

Don't worry I was almost pulling my hair out of it when I was getting used to linetype scaling.Everytime I sset it,it just seemed to look different from model space and paper space,then I'd plot it and arrrrrggghhh :shock: !I understand your frustration :)

Yes, its one of those things that catches out the beginners.
Linetypes and HIDPLOT were my biggest dramas when first starting out.
