Now that I saw the links, what do you recommend for Architectural design?

 Plain AutoCAD?

 Autodesk VIZ?

 Autodesk Architectural Desktop?

 Something else?

I'll have to say ADT4 (Architectural Desktop 2004). It comes with the Viz Render so you can have true Viz renderings. Also look at @Last's SketchUp. They have one of the best applications on the planet. They just released a plugin to allow SketchUp files to be recognised by ADT (vertical elements are walls and horizontal are slabs and such).

I am currently using Architectural Desktop, upgrading from plain AutoCAD to produce building structural models.

I am now working smarter instead of harder.

Architectural Desktop is the way to go. :D
