Oh Blocks!

Hi, I'm using AutoCAD 97 LT and am having the following problem...
Inset drawing sheet block.
Right click within the area of inserted block and the menu (I don't use the 'repeat' command) takes over 1s to appear.
Right click anywhere else and it appears straight away...
Turn the block off and there is no problem anywhere...
It also affects the Osnap marker time by the same amount...
Any ideas? :?

I've had this sort of thing happen (back in yester year of R10-14) when I used windows fonts (TTF). Check and see if there are any TTF type fonts used. I there are, try changing them to SHX fonts and see if the problem goes away. It did for me. 2002 solved this problem.
