Hatch area

i use autocad2004
some times i can calculate the hatch area by typing Li i got a list contain area
some other drwaing area value not include any help will be apreciated

Could the area actually be a block? If so, AutoCAD will not return a value for the area.

It could have been a hatch obeject from AutoCAD Release 14. Type convert and update the hatch to see if it fixes your problem.
