text in command bar not showing

Help!!! the text in the command bar at bottom of screen does not show, however, I am still able to type in the command but only shows in the cross hairs. Also, the "list" window does not display the text when I apply the command to an object.

Please help

Click on the DYN button on the status bar. This will turn DYNAMIC INPUT on/off

Thank you for your reply, however, the dyn command only turns on and off the input in the crosshair. The input in the command bar and list window still not showing.

Look in tools\options\display tab & colours to see if the command line text colour has been turned the same colour as the background.

COMMANDLINE - makes the command line visible (or ctrl+9)
COMMANDLINEHIDE - hides the command line
