Is there a way that when I create viewports with solview, that the colors and linetypes will already be picked out for me? I'm getting a little tired of setting the same colors and linetypes over and over again. Thanks guys

I don't believe you can. In theory, you could make a new layer with the name you are going to use when you create the view using Solview ahead of time. However, AutoCAD, during the Solview command, will take that name and append the VIS, DIM, and HID designations to it.
Example: You make a layer and call it PLAN.
AutoCAD will ignore the pre-created layer. It will add a new layer called PLAN-VIS.
If you try to outsmart AutoCAD and create a layer and call it PLAN-VIS, AutoCAD will name its new layer PLAN-VIS-VIS. Gotcha!

After you use the Solview/Soldraw commands you could try to use the layer translator to move the objects on the desired layer.
