I used to use a command all the time that doubles the number of points in a polyline object. can't remember what it is though (been a while since I've used it).

I'm hoping it wasn't a homemade LISP.... it was something like "multiply' or "increase' or something.. nothing I've tried works. Its a great tool esp for importing objects into MAX.

thanks!

That's not a standard AutoCAD feature. Maybe Map can do that? Or it was a custom lisp. A term used for that is to "densify" a polyline. A quick search turmed up a few products that offered this but didn't find a free download.

What about "isolines"? Would this do it? Default is 4. Bump it up to 14 or something.
