help!!! internal error when opening a 3d drawing

i am getting this internal error message when i try to open a drawing:

internal error !dbspace.h@410:eOutOfRange

i'm not sure why. i tried recovering it and that did not work.
i tried to use the backup file but i get the same error message.

can anyone help me out with this problem?

I had similar problems with solids and AutoCAD 2004 - dbspace errors. I was not able to recover the files in AutoCAD 2004, but I was able to recover them in AutoCAD 2006 and 2007 - to my relief.
