3D plans of roads and sewer systems? I would think your choices would be "slim" and "none". Unless of course you find an example here and there shown as a way to entice you to buy the appropriate software. Civilsoft?
Anyway, why not take a drive down to your local town hall and head over to the engineering or public works department. They'll have plenty of plans and profiles of roads and sewers to view. Most of these departments will even print you out copies (for a price). Then you can go home and use these real world examples for replicating in AutoCAD.
One more possibility: someone here is kind enough to post and example or two of what they have done. It could be your lucky day.

thanks for the help Remark. ill have to look into getting my hands on some plans in town, and im not talking about 3D gen. just simple top view road plans showing utilities also, and they usually include a seperate profile view showing grade and depth of said utilities. im sure could do 3D stuff in regular ol' Acad. itd probobly look cool, but that would take FOREVER! ill start diggin8)

For roads you'll have to ask for a plan and profile. Plan views will mostly likely show all the utility lines (water, storm drains, sanitary sewer, gas, electric and any buried cables for telephone). The profiles that go along with them may only show the sewers and the centerline profile of the road. Sometimes major road upgrading projects will generate 3, 5 or 7 level profiles based upon and generating out from the centerline of the road.
Some larger cities offer separate plan and profiles for sanitary sewers and storm drains. In some cases these drawings were referred to as hub maps.
Another source of this type of information is at the state level. There you'll find plan and profiles for major highways and any state owned and maintained roadways. Good luck in your search.
