James Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 im making a block for floor joist setting out @ 400 centers. i have made the block, but when i stretch with the array command it doesnt offset the lines till i stretch it more than 400mm, but then the lines dont start till the end. ie if i have a 4000 long wall, insert at base and stretch the block full lenght, all the offset lines then start at the end of the 4000 long wall and are outside the building. any ideas? lol i just sorted it after this post, was the stretch command playing silly buggers Quote
dbroada Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I have that all the time. I find that you have to be really careful selecting stretch frames and stretch objects. Quote
James Posted March 23, 2007 Author Posted March 23, 2007 probably a simple answer, but how do i export my dynamic blocks (i have them in a pallette) so i can take to my home pc if needed. TIA Quote
dbroada Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I just WBLOCK them to a file of their own. Alternatively insert them into a single file and take that home with you. I have only just started using palettes and totally confused myself by moving their "host" drawings. I now have a single drawing containing all the blocks needed for each palette. Quote
tommerino Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Im the same, I have a single block 'bible' for each pallette. It helps reduce confusion! Quote
