3D Max Walkthrough

Could someone run me through how to set up a walkthrough in Max please?Just need the steps.

I'm working from a FBX file.How do I set up mutliple viewports,I could only see one viewport at the time and my camera wasnt in the view?Couldnt find any online vids, as most of them are people showcasing their walkhroughs.

 

Also what settings will I need to tweak to create better walkthrough output?

They're kind of old, but it's a good starting point.
