akim1220 Posted November 30, 2016 Share Posted November 30, 2016 I currently have blocks with attributes for valves and within the blocks, it calls out a mounting plate and fitting. These blocks gets inserted into a design layout and once its completed, a data extraction is ran to create a bill of material pulling the part numbers from the blocks. I would like to add different types of mounting hardware to the valve block so that the engineer can turn on the required layers and have that hardware data extract with the data extraction. I tried this but even if the hardware layer is turned off, the data still gets extracted in the data extraction. Is there a way to do this?
