thats what I was thinking but I thought i'd check first to see if anyone else had been expereincing anything similiar with there autocad, thing is i can print to the hp via other programs just fine.

I'd recommend dimensioning in paperspace as it will be a simplier way for you to keep your dimensions uniformed from drawing to drawing.

i din't do the down load, i made them send it to me, I got the serial numbers so it wasn't a big deal but it didn't keep me from chuckling at there expense.

I just got a new machine with windows 7 and after installing 2013 I have discovered that printing to our HP Universal Printing PCL 6 (v5.1) crashes autocad every time.

any one know what the fix...

I don't ever insert pdf's into my drawings so i'm still guessing but you might check the viewport settings for your underlay, it could be set to not plot in that viewport or something, I'm not really...

i think you need to set your proxyshow to 1

you might also look into making some custome toolbars for yourself, you might find them better suited for alot of commands.
