ryankevin15
Hello, Where I work we use a 0.25 arc length min and max. Whenever I get into a revision drawing for the first time, I am always having to resize the arc length no matter what. Why is this not something that can remain constant? I have to specify it on every sheet I work in. Is there a way to globally change this and have it be set every time? Is this something that the prototype drawing needs changed? If so, what is it? ReMark
Is the scale for all drawings constant or variable?
CyberAngel
According to my research, the revision cloud scales are not saved from one session to the next. When you return, the base scale becomes a multiple of the DIMSCALE variable, which may change when you use a different dimension style. In other words, the cloud scales are arbitrary. A possible fix is to write a simple startup routine that begins the REVCLOUD command, sets the scales, and quits before it actually draws anything. Surely someone has done this already. Oh, joy! There's a new version of REVCLOUD in 2016. It puts grips at the corners instead of every arc. Still has a default arc size, though.
Dana W
That's why I put them in paperspace, and use the RECTANGULAR CLOUD from the DRAW dropdown.
