Default Multi Leaders and Neat Arcs

I am YouTube'd out so please help a Newbie

I want to know the best way to draw lines between say ceiling spot lights on a plan drawing. It's always a bit hit and miss as to the curve of the line.

Then at the final spot light, continue the lighting circuit line with a matching spline but with an arrowhead pointing in the direction of the source of the lighting circuit.

Sorry, the arcs I seem to draw between the spots seem to straighten (by themselves)

Mleader splines never seem to go the way I want them to. When it absolutely, positively has to look a certain way, I explode the multileader and adjust the pieces.
