Are you saying that the preview is monochrome but the hard copy is in color? Or does "all black" mean the preview is dark? Is the hard copy supposed to be color or grayscale or monochrome?

What you get on paper is a function of the hardware (printer/plotter) as much as it is the software (AutoCAD). In other words, the preview is probably not 100% accurate, even on a good day. Sometimes getting the result you want is trial and error.

I would verify the "Plot with plot styles" box in the plot window. If it's not checked, that might cause this behavior.

Another possibility is that the driver for the plotter is giving you an incorrect preview. You may have to re-install the driver.

Thank you Cyber Angel your note :" In other words, the preview is probably not 100% accurate, even on a good day. Sometimes getting the result you want is trial and error." gave me an idea to change the output device . it is the printer cos this unwanted result . thank you man :)

Yes, this sounds like a plotter driver issue. Maybe some settings could cause this, check the plotter properties in the plot manager.

Can you post the .dwg file and an image of your plot manager settings?

What plotter are you using?
