neondeon298 Posted July 20, 2017 Share Posted July 20, 2017 So I have read up that Solidworks (and most other drafting software) is OpenGL and that the expensive as crap Nvidia Quadro is the only way to go. shift1313 Posted July 21, 2017 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Two totally different worlds sadly. If you want a good card for a reasonable pricw try a quadro k2200. I have used a bunch of quadros from 800 to 5000 and currently run a k2200 after my 5000 toasted after 3 years. I think the 2200 is around $120.
