Any recommend for basic Mech and Elec Autocad P&ID software?

i am using autocad Mech 2016 LT, I know that there is auto cad P&ID out there but just don't know what would be the good one. or does it include with Autocad that i already using? any suggestion for online tutorial for learning about P& ID?

P&ID is built on top of AutoCAD so you will still have what you're familiar with. P&ID is no walk in the park as it's very robust. Be ready to take a deep dive to use the P&ID tools on a moderate level. It also helps to be knowledgeable in the area of P&ID.

Thank you Tzframpton, i understand that i can just draw piping diagram from regular auto cad, i thought autodesk has the autocad P&ID which included all the piping,valve, pumps symbols already.

It certainly does have all those things. It's intuitive too. Maybe check out the trial first. Also, AutoCAD MEP has a great 2D piping schematic toolset that is very intuitive too.

Thank you, i will look into it. i just received old P&ID drawings that was created buy autocad p&id software but i was not able to edit or see any objects in MS, it shows in paper Space but not in model, i figure if i have the software would be much easier.

AutoCAD P&ID comes with a basic set of symbols but there is much that is missing. You can add to the library of symbols yourself or you can pay your authorized reseller to create custom content for you.
