You have to use a line or a polyline for DIVIDE or MEASURE. So copy the region somewhere, explode, join to create single polyline, "divide" that object, copy "bolt holes" back to region.

I want to create a series of holes to bolt a cylinder cover to a cylinder block. I have created a region that consists of two half circles (different radii) and two tangential lines. The holes have to be equidistant. I have tried using divide but it doesn't like my region. Thanks.
P.S thanks to StykFace for answering my last post, cheers.
