    Unhappy 3D Spiral (Helix) on path !!!

    hi guys,
    I need help, how can I make the spiral follow a path to make something like this :



    please help me

    I'll be honest. I cheat. Each segment of the spring is a individual mesh that has been extruded along a path.

    From a distance it looks real enough ( for me )

    I have no clue as to how to do it with 3DSOLIDs

    I have used that LISP, it works pretty good.

    The command to run it is HELIX2. I just browse to my LISP folder and drag & drop it in the drawing to use it.

    If you need it more than occasionally you can look into THIS.
