Placing text in box and 'tl' command

Recommended Posts

On the left box, shown in the screen shot, I'm trying to enter the words "Drawn by:" in the top left corner of this box in small text.

I think there is use of a "tl" (top left) command though it doesn't seem to be recognised when I enter it, presumably I not entering "tl" at the appropriate juncture.

Also in this left box I'd like to enter the word "Name" in bigger centred text i.e. centred within this box.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks. :)

I have moved your thread to the AutoCAD 2D Drafting, Object Properties & Interface Forum.

Are you watching the command line?

Command: text

Current text style: "STANDARD" Text height: 0'-2" Annotative: No
Specify start point of text or [Justify/Style]: J
Enter an option [Align/Fit/Center/Middle/Right/TL/TC/TR/ML/MC/MR/BL/BC/BR]: TL
