    Idea Sweeping

    Registered forum members do not see this ad.

    Can i sweep 2D object on 2 elipses(paths) so that smaller sides shrink proportionally. Need to make supporter for monitor.

    I work for a specialty chemical manufacturer. I do a little bit of everything from P&IDs to civil to architectural and structural.

    Attach a copy of your drawing and we'll take a look. We'll need the .dwg file not an image file.

    Do you have an image of the actual monitor you are attempting to create as well so we can see what the final result should look like?

    For starters you might want to review what options are available when executing the SWEEP command. Compare those options with the options for EXTRUDE and LOFT. Maybe one of those two commands would be better suited for the task.
