Dynamic Block Dependant Symetry

Hello all,

I have problem to keep dependant symmetry in my dynamic block of slot diffuser. I am not able to find where I made a mistake.

It is because your move distance is currently tied to 'L' and not 'L2' I believe.

Symmetry is OK.

But the size of diffuser "L" should be stretched just by one parameter (symmetricaly).

"L1" parameter is just position of partition inside the diffuser and should not change the size of diffuser (L)

I have managed the expected result but only with using constraints.

I am not able to find logic to do the same with parameters and actions tools.

There is one thing with constraints that I would like to change and it is to set the full size of the diffuser.

Currently I have to set half size (distance) as you can see in the picture because it keeps symetry around base point.

I'm unclear as to what you are trying to do in this last step.

Are you saying that if you stretch L you want the ratio between L1 and L2 to remain the same?

Or do you want L1 or L2 to get longer?

Are you supposed to be able to independently adjust L1 and L2?
