DrMaximum
I really like the direct and mesh modelling tools in fusion.. yet there doesn't seem to be one or anything like it even. You would think that with all the kids growing up on Fusion, a plugin like that would really be a win win for autodesk ! I remember SolidWorks had a plugin called "PowerSurfacing" that gave you similar modelling tools.. not so much Inventor though
Lazer
Inventor does have direct modelling. As Inventor is focused more on the parametric side it is new to direct modelling (well a few years under the belt). They are releasing 2019 and it has an added direct modelling feature called 'automatic blending' that looks really powerful.

What tool in Fusion can you not find in Inventor? I heard the kids are growing up on Sketchup. How many companies are using these?
f700es
Who would compare SketchUp to Inventor/Fusion 360? Not even close to each other, like night and day.
